Terms and Conditions
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by CanarySites, based in Gran Canaria, Spain. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
CanarySites provides professional website design, domain registration, hosting, maintenance, translation and related services. All services are tailored to the client's needs and agreed upon in writing in advance.
3. Client responsibilities
The client must supply all necessary materials: logo, texts, images and preferred colours. If this is not provided, CanarySites will use standard texts and stock images, agreed upon with the client. The client must also specify the desired colours and website goals.
4. Design process
CanarySites will deliver the website in a demo environment within the agreed timeframe. The client may request a maximum of two (2) rounds of revisions before publication. After final approval and full payment, the website will be published on the agreed domain within 48 hours.
5. Pricing and payment
The first year of hosting and domain registration is included in the base package. After the first year: hosting €39/year, domain €24.99/year. Additional services (such as extra pages, multilingual versions or content creation) will be invoiced separately.
6. Intellectual property
All designs and code remain the intellectual property of CanarySites unless otherwise agreed. The client receives the right to use the website for their commercial activities. AI-generated content or translations may form part of the service.
7. Liability
CanarySites is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or malfunctions of third-party software or plugins. The client is responsible for reviewing and approving all content.
8. Maintenance and changes
Unless a maintenance contract is in place, any changes after delivery will be invoiced separately. CanarySites reserves the right to limit the number of free changes.
9. Privacy
CanarySites complies with the GDPR and only uses client data to deliver the agreed service. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent.
10. Cancellation
If the client cancels a service already in progress, work completed to that point will not be refunded. CanarySites may cancel a service in the event of misuse, non-payment or inappropriate conduct.
11. Governing law
Spanish law applies to all contracts and disputes. The courts of Gran Canaria have jurisdiction.
