A WordPress site loads a theme and a string of plugins on every visit. Each plugin brings its own code, its own updates and its own chance of breaking. Build without WordPress and only the code your pages actually need is left: fewer parts that can fail, less maintenance and no login screen sitting on the open internet.

WordPress when you want to manage the site yourself
If you want to add pages, rewrite copy and swap photos without emailing us, WordPress does that job well.
